EV TukTuk Route Vol.2 From Asakusa to Green Silence A Slow Picnic Day in Tokyo

Route at a glance: This relaxed half-day EV TukTuk route takes around 3–4 hours including stops, walking, and lunch. Starting in Asakusa, it heads toward Shinjuku Gyoen and includes flexible detours along the way.

ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー

Not every day in Tokyo needs a plan.

Sometimes, the best way to explore the city
is to slow down, grab something simple to eat,
and head toward green silence.

This is EV TukTuk Route Vol.2 —
a relaxed afternoon starting in Asakusa,
moving through the city,
and finding calm along the way.

The day starts at the Asakusa shop.

We hop into the EV TukTuk,
leave the familiar streets behind,
and point ourselves toward green.

No strict schedule.
Just a direction.

Driving an EV TukTuk in Tokyo is surprisingly easy.

With an international driving permit,
anyone can enjoy a smooth and stress-free ride.

The handle feels like a bicycle.
Twist the throttle to move forward,
and even narrow streets are easy to navigate.

Tokyo’s roads are calm and well-organized,
making the ride feel safe and relaxed.

Near Shinjuku Gyoen, we spot a small bento shop that looks perfect.

No research.
No reviews.

If it looks good, that’s reason enough to stop.

You can hang your bento bag right here.

Easy to stop, easy to carry, easy to enjoy the moment.

One of the best things about EV TukTuk is the freedom to hop off anytime.

Shinjuku Gyoen is right in front of us.

Just park the EV TukTuk nearby, and step straight into green silence.

We asked, “Where can we park the bike?”

They smiled and said,

“Just leave it at this parking area.”

Simple, friendly, and stress-free.

We park near the park entrance, lock the TukTuk, and step straight into green space.

Inside the park, the city noise fades away.

Just trees, open paths, and quiet moments.

Tokyo feels different here — slower, softer, and unexpectedly calm.

We find a bench, open the bento, and take our time.

Eating outside.
Watching people pass.
Doing absolutely nothing.

This is the kind of moment you miss when you rush.

After eating, we walk a little more.

No destination.
No pressure.

Just moving slowly and enjoying the space.

Then we noticed two cats sunbathing on a nearby rooftop.

A small moment, but incredibly calming.

On the way back toward Asakusa, we take a small detour.

Near Kudan,
there’s a quiet park where you can look down and watch trains pass below.

One of the best things about the EV TukTuk is how easy it is to stop.

When you find a nice spot, just park, hop off, and enjoy the moment.

The city keeps moving, but here, time feels suspended.

Before heading home, we stop by Ueno.

A temple. An unexpected event.
Something interesting along the way.

Hop off.
Take a look.

Hop back on.

EV TukTuk isn’t just transportation.

It gives you freedom — to stop when curiosity hits, to change plans without stress,
and to enjoy Tokyo at your own pace.

It turns movement into experience.

This is Local Stroll.

Not about seeing more,
but about feeling Tokyo differently.
